No stranger to Championship Fighting Alliance, Miami’s Luis “Baboon” Palomino (20-8) returns to the CFA cage at CFA 11.

The Peruvian fighter will compete in the cage seeking a victory. He will have a chance to do so against Robert Washington (15-7) at the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Fl. May 24. Tickets on sale at www.cfafights.com and the show will air live on AXS TV.

Palomino is searching for a victory after winning four fights in a row against veteran Gesias Cavalcante, Charles Bennett, James Berto and James Warfield. Luiz Buscape Firmino defeated Palomino at CFA 09 for the lightweight title.

Voted fan favorite last year by CFA fans, Palomino, a Bellator veteran, has been training at various respected training camps across South Florida including American Top Team, after being the face of MMA Masters.

But to gain a victory, Palomino is facing a strong opponent in Washington, who is also coming off a loss against Zach Freeman via decision. Washington has fought out of the states including Canada.

Palomino has been part of CFA since the beginning as he fought in the first ever CFA: The Title. He has made five CFA appearances.

This is a fight sure to deliver. CFA 11 will also feature the semi-finals of the all women tournaments for $20,000 and for the 145-pound women’s title. In the main event, Mike Kyle and Valentijn Overeem will duke it off.
