We caught up with Allanna Jones (2-1) who fights Fallon Fox (2-0) at CFA 11 part of the women semi-finals May 24 from the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Fl. and live on AXS TV.

Jones, from Michigan, is getting ready for her fight at Top Notch MMA in Villa Park, Illinois. She has made adjustments for her fight. The tournament winner will earn a $20,000 check and the CFA 145 –pound women’s title.

“I am also still training with my regular coaches as well,” she said. “I am training with a lot of group of guys that weigh around 145 pounds. What made me come here for my training camp was that this camp has good strong guys who fight around 145 pounds. They have good wrestlers that I can work with too.”

Jones defeated Kelsey De Santis at CFA 10. Fox defeated Ericka Newsome by KO in the first round at 39 seconds.

She finds that training with other camps is beneficial to her fight game.

“I am here working on different areas to help me in my fight. Always nice to travel to different gyms to work with different people and learn new things,” she said. “I want to make sure I am 100% prepared for whatever in this fight.”
