CFA woman fighter Allanna Jones (2-1) displayed her boxing skills in her last fight against opponent Kelsey De Santis. She won her CFA debut via split decision.

She can credit her surrounding around boxing for showcasing her hands. Jones fights Fallon Fox (2-0) in the all women tournament for the CFA 145 pound title plus a $20,000 check.

Jones boyfriend is a boxer and at her gym there are several who train for the sport. In preparation for her fight against Fox, everyone is coming to her aid.

“Everyone is helping me out,” she said. “They are making me work extra hard.”

Her boyfriend, Nick Givhan, is a boxer and will more than likely be in her corner come May 24, when she fights against Fox.

“He gives me tips all the time,” she said.

Jones also said she wouldn’t scratch out the thought of perhaps one day competing in a boxing ring. She said she looked up to professional boxer Laila Ali, the daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali.

Watch Jones in action against Fox in the semi-finals May 24 at CFA 11 at the BankUnited Center. Ticket information will be released soon. Peggy Morgan and Ashlee Evans Smith will also compete on the same night and will serve as the other semi-final bout.
