Allanna Jones defeated Kelsey De Santis in a close fight via split decision at CFA 10.

She was part of the co-main event of the evening and the last fight of the all women tournament of the night.

Jones said in an interview with the Roman Show that she felt great with the win.

“I knew she was the favorite,” she said. “It was nice beating the favorite.”

Jones also added that her opponent’s size didn’t bother her because height is something she is accustomed too.

“I am used to fighting girls that are taller than me,” she said. “ I know what to do, stay inside.”

Reflecting back at the fight she said she would change her performance in the first round.

“I (wanted to) come out harder in the first round,” she said. “I wanted to be more aggressive and showcase my ground game.”

She said she is ready for her next foe.

“I watched all the fights,” she said. “(There’s) no one in particular (I’d like to fight). I am willing to fight anyone.”
