Allanna Jones (2-1) is not bothered by the media hype going into her fight against trans gender athlete Fallon Fox (2-0) in the semi-finals of the CFA all women tournament.

“I don’t know what I am feeling. I’ve never been in this situation before,” she said. “I’ve just been training really hard. I’ve been training with bigger and stronger guys because she might have that advantage. But I stay focus on my training and everything else.”

Jones and Fox meet May 24 at CFA 11. The winner of the tournament earns the inaugural CFA women’s featherweight title and a $20,000 check.

The hands of stone last defeated Kelsey De Santis at CFA 10 via split decision in a close fight. She used her boxing skills to defeat the fan favorite. She says her mind is focused only on winning. Fox defeated Ericka Newsome via knockout in the first round.

“I keep my focus on my fight and what I need to do to win,” she said.

Watch Jones in action against Fox in the semi-finals May 24 at CFA 11 at the BankUnited Center. Ticket information will be released soon. Peggy Morgan and Ashlee Evans Smith will also compete on the same night and will serve as the other semi-final bout.
