By Rodolfo Roman A packed Bongos Cuban Café hosted Championship Fighting Alliance’s CFA 11 press conference where, for the most part, all fighters on the card where respectful of each other. After 10 shows, CFA has reached a partnership with AXS TV, owned by Mark Cuban, and will air CFA 11 nationally. The cable channel reaches over 40 million homes. The show will air live on television starting at 9 p.m. The under card starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are on sale at CFA CEO Jorge de la Noval said he is excited the world will get to witness what CFA has been producing. “We aren’t the typical company to put great fights to make a little money,” he said. “We want to build the product.” With a stellar fight card, all of the CFA 11 participants spoke about their competition Friday live from the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Fl. De la Noval said CFA is going up a step. “Every show we are going to step it up,” he said. “We will take this company to the next level.” In the main-event, Mike Kyle will meet Travis Wiuff as both met in 2010 in a no contest fight. Wiuff and Kyle have looked forward to a rematch to finally settle the score. “I am thankful for any opponent, who wants to step in the ring with me,” Kyle said. “There is no grudge.” Wiuff was humbled to get a rematch and said he was “excited” to once again step inside the cage against a former opponent. Co-main eventers Fallon Fox and Allanna Jones are looking forward to deliver a fight that will be talked about. “I am excited to be here for the tournament,” she said. “I think Jones is going to come with it. It’s going to be an exciting fight. We will prove that women’s fighting rocks.” Jones added she too is ready to display her skills on national television. “I am excited to be here and I can’t wait to fight,” Jones said. In the other women’s tournament semi-finals fight, Ashlee Evans Smith and Anna Barone will be just as competitive. Evans said she doesn’t mind who she is faced against. “I am excited.
